Caritas Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Children's Social Worker to join West Sussex County Council's Children With Disabilities Team in Chichester & Bognor Regis. You will undertake assessments, planning and interventions for disabled children and looked after children.

Hybrid working is available with County Hall as the base; you will work with Education, Health and partner agencies to safeguard children and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualificações

• Social Work England registration required.
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in UK Local Authority Children’s Services.
• Experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs.
• Strong assessment, analysis and care planning skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection processes.
• Excellent partnership and multi-agency working skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake assessments and care planning for children with disabilities and complex needs.
• Manage Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children cases.
• Direct work with children and young people.
• Support children and families using strengths-based approaches.
• Collaborate with Education, Health and partner agencies.
• Ensure safeguarding and positive outcomes for children.
