Key Responsibilities:

Act as the allocated Social Worker for children in care proceedings or long-term care placements.

Undertake direct work with children to understand their lived experiences, wishes, and feelings.

Create and maintain life story work and books to support each child's identity and development.

Develop, review, and amend individualised care plans to meet each child's evolving needs.

Prepare reports for Children in Care reviews and court proceedings.

Work closely with carers, parents, family networks, IROs, Guardians, and professionals in health and education.

Travel to rural areas and placements across the region - a full UK driving licence is essential .
