Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Social Worker for the Permanence/LAC Team in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The role is full-time (37 hours weekly) with hybrid working and three days in the office. You will work to secure permanence for looked-after children and complete CPRs under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to write CPRs (child permanence reports) under supervision.
• Knowledge and practice of working with children in care, family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of Court reports and support plans.
• Excellent communication and strong report writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Support permanence planning for looked-after children in the Permanence/LAC Team.
• Prepare and submit CPRs and Court reports as required.
• Contribute to support plans and visits; attend meetings as needed.
• Work flexibly with hybrid arrangements and office presence three days per week.

Social Worker

Social Worker required for work within the Permanence/LAC Team in the picturesque county of Gloucestershire based in Stroud. 37 hrs a week. Competitive rates of pay up to £42 ph. The team has a strong management structure. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Our Children in Care team based in Stroud is looking for an experienced Social Worker who understands the need for permanence for young people and who will demonstrate grit and tenacity to ensure young people feel safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential.

It is essential that candidates have experience or are skilled at writing CPR's (child permanence report) under supervision. They need to have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans.

The role is full time where home working opportunities are available with the expectation that workers will come into the office 3 days per week and visit people to undertake the work when needed. This is subject to change and the candidate should be flexible to meet the Teams' needs.

It is essential that candidates have good communication and strong report writing skills.
