Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a compassionate and experiencedSocial Worker to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team. In this rewarding role, you’ll support looked-after children and young people, helping to ensure they receive the care, stability, and opportunities they deserve.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will manage a caseload of children and young people under the care of the local authority, developing and reviewing care plans in line with statutory requirements. You will ensure their safety and well-being by addressing safeguarding concerns and advocating for their voice in all decisions. Through collaboration with foster carers, schools, health professionals, and others, you will support their development. You will attend multi-agency meetings, including Looked After Child (LAC) reviews, and ensure compliance with legal duties. This includes preparing court reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting transitions such as reunification or independence.
