Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking Experienced Social Workers to join the Families First teams on a full-time permanent basis. The Family Help team is based at Myton Park, Warwick, delivering child-focused social work with strong multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Applicants must have a professional Social Work qualification, Social Work England registration, and ASYE completion, with experience handling complex child welfare cases.

Qualifications

• Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW).
• Social Work England Registration and ASYE completed.
• Experience in children's social work and complex cases.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions.
• Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Work with children and families to improve outcomes and ensure the voice of the child is central.
• Complete assessments, case management, and effective reporting for safeguarding.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and partners across the county.
