Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting Experienced Social Workers for the Family Help Team at Myton Park, Warwick. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with agile and flexible working patterns and a strong emphasis on safeguarding and family-focused practice.

The package includes a salary up to £53,317 per year plus a £3,500 pro-rated market supplement, with relocation support up to £8,000 if eligible.

Qualifications

• Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW)
• Social Work England registration
• In-depth experience in children's social work and complex cases
• Ability to record, produce concise, effective, and accurate reports
• Strong communication skills with children and families

Responsibilities

• Provide social work support to children and families within the Family Help Team
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partners and services
• Contribute to safeguarding and decision-making processes with clear, accurate reporting
• Engage with ASYE and ongoing training opportunities
• Promote best practices and systemic approaches in interventions
