Job summary

Worcestershire County Council in Redditch is recruiting Qualified Social Workers for Families First on a part-time basis (18.5 hours/week) with the office base at Pershore Civic Centre, covering Redditch and Wychavon. Salary ranges £18,182 to £20,886 per annum plus £2,000 Market Forces.

You will join a multidisciplinary Families First team delivering family assessments and direct work with children and families, liaising with partners to safeguard and support outcomes, aiming to keep families

Responsibilities

• Carry out Family Assessments and deliver help, support and intervention through a Family Plan.
• Work directly with families in their homes and in schools or family hubs.
• Liaise with internal and external partners to support plans and safeguarding.
