The Children and Families Hub is the single point of access for Children's Social Care. Its primary purpose is to ensure children, young people, and their families receive early help, advice, and support to protect them from harm, promote development, and ensure wellbeing. The Hub identifies the lowest appropriate support level needed to bring about positive change, supports good parenting, and promotes children's emotional health. It plays a critical role in engaging parents and professionals in interventions to bring about family change, aiming to deliver outstanding service to children and families in Essex.
The role reports directly to a Senior Practitioner and is part of a large team of social workers and qualified staff.
