Job Title: Social Worker – Assessment Team

Location: Birmingham

Rate: £33.30 per hour

Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified social worker to join a dynamic Assessment Team based in Birmingham.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families.
• Handling Section 47 enquiries, investigating cases where there is reasonable cause to suspect a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm.
• Managing Section 17 assessments to identify children in need and provide support services.
• Participating in duty systems to respond to immediate concerns and referrals.
• Collaborating with other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Qualifications and Experiences: To be successful, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a degree in Social Work, and have at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
