Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention Team

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative recruitment agency, has a new permanent position for a Social Worker within the Assessment & Intervention Team in Slough. The salary is up to £48,776 per annum.

Responsibilities

1. Undertake social work on allocated cases, producing outcome-based plans considering the needs and risks to children and their families.
2. Develop effective relationships with children, young people, and their families to improve service impact and ensure plans reflect their views.
3. Determine, based on evidence-based practice, how needs will be met within resource and statutory frameworks.
4. Maintain effective individual performance aligned with national standards, including regular supervision.
5. Address the needs of service users from diverse communities, ensuring access to translation and interpretation services as needed.
6. Identify and utilize resources to promote child and family wellbeing.
7. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all work, including use of the Integrated Children's System.
8. Work effectively to transfer casework between areas with clear plans.
9. Identify personal learning needs and reflect on skills and abilities, utilizing supervision for development.
10. Provide cover for team members and undertake additional projects as appropriate.

Requirements

• A social work qualification or equivalent.

• Registered or eligible for registration.
