Job summary

Quid, Inc. in Swindon is seeking qualified social workers at all levels to join the Assessment & Child Protection team. You will conduct high-quality statutory assessments, investigations, and multi-agency safeguarding to protect children and promote family wellbeing.

You’ll work within the Family Safeguarding framework, collaborating with domestic abuse and mental health colleagues, with strong leadership, manageable caseloads, and clear development paths. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification required.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience delivering assessments and safeguarding within children's services.
• Ability to work with families and partner agencies to manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Completing high-quality statutory assessments and child protection investigations
• Building strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
• Developing effective plans to safeguard children and improve outcomes
• Managing complex cases and making evidence-based decisions
• Supporting children and families through periods of change
• Contributing to continuous improvement and excellent practice
