Qualifications

• Must hold a social work qualification and be registered or eligible for registration.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation including Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
• DBS check enhanced level.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW).
• Knowledge of social work models and interventions is desirable.

About You

• Must hold a qualification in social work
• Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
• Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience. (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW).
• Knowledge of social work models and interventions including strengths based practice models (Desirable).
• Knowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needs (Desirable).
