Job Opportunity: Social Worker in Adult Social CarePoint

A full-time opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker to join Adult Social CarePoint. This friendly and supportive team is committed to person-centred practice, promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice.

About Adult Social CarePoint

Adult Social CarePoint is the first point of contact for adult social care in Newcastle. Join us during an exciting time as we adopt new initiatives to improve outcomes for individuals.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Providing urgent responses to individuals in crisis.
  2. Completing strength-based Care Act assessments and Carers Assessments.
  3. Offering advice and information, often in challenging situations.
  4. Aiming to prevent long-term support needs and promote independence.
  5. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
  6. Adapting quickly and making sound judgments, often in emergencies.
Candidate Requirements

The applicant should hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent) and must be currently registered with Social Work England.
