Employment Type: Permanent,Full-time (2 days in office, 3 days home-based)
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP41,000
We are a working with a therapeutic independent fostering agency who are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and Support Foster Carers: Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to provide quality care to children.
Reviews: Regularly review and monitor the progress and wellbeing of children in placement.
Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure all fostering activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and agency policies. Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with local authorities, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to the care and support of children.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities, ensuring confidentiality and data protection protocols are followed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Social Work Qualification: Degree or equivalent in Social Work, with current registration with Social Work England.
Experience: Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in fostering (Independent Fostering or Local Authority), with a strong understanding of fostering regulations and best practices.
Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and report writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Driving License: Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
