Social Worker Family Safeguarding

Opus People Solutions, on behalf of Cambridge County Council, has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Location/hybrid working: 2-3 days in the office, Huntingdon

1. Completing statutory visits for CIN, CP, and CIC, chairing CIN and Core Group meetings, and managing a caseload that may include cases in PLO or S31 Care Proceedings. Responsibilities include completing court reports, risk assessments, and parenting assessments.
2. Attending court with the support of a senior practitioner or team manager. Supporting the duty rota.
3. Attending ICPC and RCPC meetings, writing conference reports, and managing and assessing risk.
