Job summary

London Borough of Merton in Greater London is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join Locality Team 2 within Adult Social Care. You will work with adults with care and support needs to maintain independence, stay safe and achieve positive outcomes.

You will be part of a supportive team that values good practice, professional development and staff wellbeing, with regular supervision and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Social Worker.
• Experience in Adult Social Care.
• Knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding practice.
• Ability to manage complex cases and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Collaborative approach with residents, colleagues and partners.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join Locality Team 2 within Adult Social Care at Merton Council.
