Location: Havering, UK
Salary: £37 per hour (higher rate dependent on experience)
Duration: 3 months (with opportunity for extension)

This locum position offers a competitive hourly rate of £37 (with the possibility of a higher rate based on experience). The role is for an initial 3 months, with potential for extension. What you will do:
– Carry out Children in Need (CIN) casework and support children and families facing domestic abuse challenges.
– Engage in child protection (CP) efforts, fostering environments where children can remain with their families.
– Progress CIN/CP protection plans with a focus on improving outcomes for those you support.
– Participate actively in team meetings, duty weeks, and development days at our town hall campus.
– Facilitate face-to-face meetings with children and families to ensure impactful and meaningful engagements.
Will focus on:
– Safeguarding children, ensuring they can safely remain with their families.
– Developing and implementing effective CIN/CP protection plans for improved outcomes.
Requirements:
– Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
– A minimum of 2 years of experience as a social worker, specifically in children and families’ services, including assessments and statutory work.
