Job description

Adult Social Worker, Learning Disabilities, Enfield

We are seeking an experienced, qualified social worker (LSW3) to join the Learning Disabilities Assessment & Care Management Team. The successful candidate will:

  1. Have at least 2 years of experience working as a social worker in a Social Care office, specifically within a learning disabilities team, or 5 years of experience in an adult social care team.
  2. Possess extensive experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and their carers.
  3. Be committed to the team and capable of managing a caseload with complex issues.
  4. Be creative in developing support plans that promote service user development, community inclusion, and demonstrate value for money.
  5. Have experience in safeguarding adults practice.
  6. Primarily conduct reviews of existing LD service users' current care packages.
  7. Be part of the duty rota and experienced in working within a duty system, including undertaking Care Act assessments, reviewing care packages, and mental capacity assessments.

Please only submit candidates meeting these experience requirements. The maximum pay rate offered is £32 LTD/umbrella.
