We are very excited to be able to offer a substantive Social Worker post within the Cheltenham & North Cotswold Recovery Team. The post is part time 30 hours per week; days/ hours can be negotiated and we are seeking an experienced Social Worker. The post would be based at Leckhampton Lodge, a community base for the recovery and other community teams to enable lots of helpful information/ skills/ knowledge sharing and positive interface working.
The Recovery Team is a friendly, welcoming and dynamic team providing secondary care services to adults of working age, their families and significant others, to provide the best possible outcomes for people experiencing severe mental illness, with complex mental health needs. The aim of the team is to work in line with the principles of Recovery and Social Inclusion. We strive to ensure that locality services represent excellent quality, (safe and a positive experience) and good value, (efficient and effective).
This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker who has some experience of working with adults of Working Age and caring for individuals with Enduring Mental Health problems.
The post will include care coordinating a designated caseload, working within CPA Policy and associated countywide risk procedures, travelling independently, use of IT skills and a working knowledge of legislation regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA and MCA.
