Job summary

Cardiff Children's Services seeks Social Work Assistants on a 3-month contract to support Locality teams in delivering services to children and families. You will work under the guidance of a Principal Social Worker and Team Manager, handling a small caseload with a focus on open, fair, and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities include managing caseloads, arranging services, reviewing care plans, and adhering to council policies and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with service users through direct contact in a professional environment.
• GCSE standard or equivalent education required.
