Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Work Assistant Team Manager to oversee an Adult Mental Health team in Tameside. This full-time ongoing role offers a competitive £40 per hour locum rate and the chance to guide high-quality care and safeguarding practice across services.

You will manage social workers and allied professionals, ensure compliance with Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design effective care plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work with current registration (Social Work England).
• Demonstrated frontline experience in adult services, preferably mental health.
• Recent management experience in roles such as Team Manager/Assistant Team Manager.

What you will do:

• Significant frontline experience in adult services, demonstrating strong capabilities within mental health social care.
• Familiarity and understanding of statutory adult social care, including the intricacies of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
