Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in North Somerset to assist with the appointment of a Social Work Assistant/ Family Support Worker, on a 6-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £17.22 - £22.80 per Hour

Responsibilities:

• Support duty social workers in day-to-day activities
• Deliver direct support to children and young people at home or in care
• Supervise contact/family time sessions
• Help bring together family networks to plan support
• Work collaboratively with social workers and professionals

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, families, or within social care settings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable individuals

Please note:

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
