Job summary

Aave Labs is seeking a highly creative Video Editor who lives and breathes social media. You’ll craft video content across our social and digital channels, collaborating with Marketing to bring our products, ecosystem and brand to life through engaging, platform-native storytelling.

You’ll turn raw footage into edits with hooks, pacing and sound, and experiment with new formats, including AI, to continually improve production efficiency while maintaining high creative quality.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating editing craft.
• Deep familiarity with social media trends and internet culture.
• Understanding what makes short-form content compelling (hooks, retention, pacing, sound).
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
• Ability to leverage AI and new creative tools to improve workflow.
• Ability to move quickly, experiment and manage multiple pieces of content.

Responsibilities

• Create video content across Aave’s social and digital channels.
• Turn raw footage into edits with strong hooks, pacing, sound and storytelling.
• Create content around product launches, campaigns, events, interviews and moments across the Aave ecosystem.
• Spot social trends and formats for authentic participation.
• Adapt creative based on platform and audience performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design from concept to final edit.
• Experiment with AI and emerging tools to speed up production.
• Help define and evolve a distinctive video style for Aave.
