Job description

Following a successful contract win in late 2023 from one of the UK’s largest and most trusted financial service providers, we will provide both contact centre and administrative solutions to help assist its 25 million customers. Specifically, we will be supporting the end-to-end customer journey, from opening an account to making amendments or closing an account. We aim to deliver the best experience online, by phone, or by post.

As a member of the account team, you will support developing a customer and outcome-obsessed culture by motivating, supporting, coaching, and leading teams to exceed expectations.

As a strategic supplier to the UK Government, Sopra Steria is committed to social value delivery. Our dedicated Social Value Manager will help ensure collaboration on new initiatives, meeting commitments to fair work, environmental stewardship, diversity, equality, and inclusion.

The role requires a hybrid working approach, being accessible to stakeholders as needed.

What you will be doing:

You will oversee and deliver commitments to the client on behalf of the Account Director, working within the Partnership & Collaboration function with leadership to:

  • Support social value strategy design, development, and implementation aligned with client commitments.
  • Lead social value initiatives, manage contractual commitments, chair quarterly forums, and develop governance and reporting processes.
  • Engage stakeholders internally and externally to drive collaboration and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with communities and partners to execute social value strategies.
  • Establish a network of social value champions to promote continuous improvement.
  • Deliver training on social value across teams and clients.
  • Promote diversity, security, and resilience in the supply chain.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience leading the social value agenda.
  • Ability to manage diverse internal stakeholders and build external relationships.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret complex data and support decision-making.
  • Strong customer experience focus.
  • Proactive, trusted adviser mindset.
It would be great if you had:
  • Experience with social value measurement frameworks.
  • Delivery experience aligned with the Government’s Social Value Model.
  • Qualifications in carbon/energy management.
  • Experience managing volunteering initiatives.
