Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a Partnership and Community Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of social value initiatives across the Northwest Processing operations, focusing on the Kirklees Contract and supporting the wider region.

You will work with operational teams, customers, local authorities and community organisations to build partnerships, identify funding, and ensure delivery of social value commitments. Regular travel across the UK and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing projects and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A proactive, innovative and commercially aware approach.
• An interest in social value, sustainability and community engagement.
• Experience working with local government, charities, community groups or within the waste and resource sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional social value plans and initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, community organisations and key stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on social value performance and impact.
• Identify opportunities for funding, partnerships and community investment.
• Support employee engagement through sustainability and community programmes.
• Promote SUEZ's social value achievements through internal and external communications.
• Share best practice and drive continuous improvement across the region.
