The Role:
As a Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 4 and 5. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their best, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Social Science to KS4 and KS5 students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic success.
Contribute to the development of the Social Science curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
Participate in departmental and whole school CPD activities.
Support the school’s ethos and values, maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Social Science at secondary level, particularly at KS4 and KS5.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Social Science.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
