Job summary

PK Education Limited is seeking a qualified Social Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Chesterfield. You will deliver engaging Social Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, align with the curriculum, and support students' academic progress.

The role requires a current QTS or equivalent, solid classroom management, and the ability to handle varied abilities with confidence. DBS checks should be current or willing to undergo.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Social Science within a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be confident delivering engaging lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check.

Job Description

PK Education are recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher to work within a secondary school in Chesterfield.

We are looking for a confident teacher who can deliver engaging Social Science lessons across KS3 and KS4. Depending on the school timetable, this may include subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, Health & Social Care and related Social Science subjects.

The successful candidate will be able to quickly settle into an established department, deliver high-quality lessons and maintain a positive learning environment for students.

The Role:

• Teaching Social Science across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum
