Job summary

Simply Education Ltd in Chester is seeking an English Teacher for secondary schools. You will deliver engaging GCSE-focused English Language & Literature lessons, plan and differentiate lessons, and support students across KS3 and KS4.

We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs with QTS/QTLS, DBS Update Service, and a proactive, flexible approach. Competitive daily rates (£150-£200) and flexible placements are offered to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Excellent classroom management and behaviour skills.
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.

English Teacher - Secondary School - Chester

£150-£200 per day (dependent on experience)

Simply Education is currently recruiting a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Chester. We have opportunities available for daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements.

This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs who are confident delivering engaging English Language & Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and flexible approach
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
