•Develop and execute creative social media and PR strategies aligned with our brand and mission.•Plan and manage a content calendar for campaigns, launches, and ongoing engagement.•Create and publish engaging posts, threads, visuals, and short-form video content.•Post content created by the marketing team across social platforms.•Monitor conversations and trends using tools like Hootsuite, Google Trends, etc.•Analyze content performance and use insights to drive strategy.•Build and run partnership and ambassador campaigns to grow reach and credibility.•Collaborate with designers, content writers, and product team to shape storytelling.•Help refine our tone, messaging, and visual identity across platforms.
Community Engagement & User Feedback
•Keep active, friendly engagement with users to address concerns and pain points while maintaining a positive brand image.•Respond to user comments, DMs, and emails—you’ll be the voice of ApplayKite online.•Organize and manage feedback loops, ensuring user concerns are documented and shared with the internal team.•Regularly test user journeys with the product to identify bugs and UX issues.•Proactively suggest improvements based on real user experiences.•Facilitate internal alignment with clear team communication plans.
Requirements:
2–3+ years of experience in social media, PR, or communications—ideally in edtech, academic, or startup spaces.
Familiarity with academic processes and how students apply for scholarships or PhDs.
Strong grasp of AI trends in content creation and social media.
Experience with Hootsuite, Google Trends, and managing a content calendar.
Excellent written & spoken English with strong communication skills.
Customer support or user engagement experience is a plus.
Friendly, proactive, and able to build strong user relationships.
Strong attention to detail for spotting product issues & gathering feedback.
Comfortable working independently and iteratively in a remote, fast-paced startup.
