Job summary

Loud London, a London-based media network, is seeking a Social Media Manager who thinks like a strategist, acts like a creator and is plugged into what is happening online in real time. Own the 7-day short form content calendar, post daily across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, respond to comments, monitor trends, and craft original concepts.

Brief the Studio Tech, collaborate with the Editor, and pitch proactive ideas.

Qualifications

Active on TikTok with real-time understanding of the algorithm.
Creative with proactive idea generation.
Fast turnaround of reactive content within 24 hours.
Strong eye for grabbing the first two seconds.
Willing to grow into a network-wide strategist role.

Responsibilities

Own the 7-day short form content calendar for your show — scheduled four weeks in advance at all times
Post daily across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube — never let any platform go dark
Respond to every comment and DM across all platforms — community is built in the replies
Monitor trends daily — bring ideas to the team before they are relevant, not after
Come up with original short form concepts based on the show’s episode content
Brief the Studio Tech on BTS content needed before every recording day
Work with the Editor on clip selection and caption style
Pitch ideas upward — you are expected to bring solutions, not just execute instructions
Report weekly on what performed, what did not and why
