Job Description:

We are seeking a creative Social Media Officer to join the University of Hull. The successful candidate will create, post, source, and schedule content for the University’s social media channels, supporting the University’s objectives and brand identity. Responsibilities include community management, monitoring channels, engaging with the community, coordinating social media activities like takeovers and live streams, and evaluating the impact of social media campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms to enhance engagement and reputation.
  • Support community management by monitoring channels and responding to messages.
  • Identify opportunities for engagement with the University community.
  • Coordinate social media activities with staff, students, alumni, and partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate social media performance and suggest improvements.
