Our mission is to guide brands on how to maximize the exploding social commerce opportunity on TikTok and drive meaningful results for their business.

About The Role

We’re looking for a French and German-speaking (level B2) Social Media Specialist who is passionate about TikTok, knows how to spark engagement, and understands what motivates Gen Z and Millennial audiences.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

You will;
  • Serve as the expert and trusted advisor on TikTok organic content strategy and community management, understanding each client’s business needs.
  • Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and write on-brand, SEO-optimized captions.
  • Collaborate with content and production teams to provide real-time community feedback to shape content.
  • Build and engage TikTok communities by:

- Engaging daily with followers via comments, DMs, mentions, and TikTok Lives in English, French, and German.

- Sparking conversations, reposting UGC, and encouraging participation in challenges and trends.

- Monitoring sentiment and trends, and sharing insights with the team.

  • Lead creator partnerships, from outreach and negotiation to content delivery and performance reporting, including always-on gifting.
  • Coordinate with the production manager to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Own reporting and analytics, using data to optimize social strategies.
  • Manage client relationships, report progress to stakeholders, and serve as a brand ambassador.
  • Deliver results that promote client retention and growth for Onyx.
What you will bring
  • 1-2+ years experience managing communities and content strategies, preferably on TikTok.
  • Fluent in English, with strong working proficiency in French and German (B2 level).
  • Experience with social scheduling and reporting tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Sprinklr.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok culture and community engagement.
  • Knowledge of social KPIs and growth strategies.
  • Experience working with creators and translation partners is a plus.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, adaptable messaging for different audiences.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and presenting strategies.
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
