Job summary

The Social Shepherd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead day-to-day organic strategy for client accounts, within our Organic Social team. You will drive cross-channel content, mentor a Social Media Executive, and partner with Client Services and Creative teams to deliver world-class, results-driven work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing organic social media for brands.
• Strong understanding of platform nuances across TikTok, Reels, Stories and Comments.
• Creative thinker who can connect with audiences and meet business KPIs.
• Excellent organisational and multi-project management skills.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-channel organic strategies (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) with clear purpose for client objectives.
• Monitor trends and adapt strategies in real time to stay ahead.
• Line manage a Social Media Executive and provide mentorship to develop skills.
• Conduct 1:1s and foster a positive team culture.
• Collaborate on client reporting with meaningful insights beyond vanity metrics.
• Support KPIs ownership and refine content/channel strategies to hit growth targets.
