The Role:

At Beyond Nine, we’re on a mission to grow our community, elevate our brand, and connect more deeply with our audience. We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and highly collaborative Social Media Manager to join our expanding team. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social, thrives on creative ideation, and knows how to translate storytelling into measurable brand impact.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll own and evolve our organic social media strategy across all platforms—driving brand awareness, fostering engagement, and bringing the Beyond Nine voice to life in fresh and exciting ways. You’ll work closely with the Brand, PR, and Content teams to ensure our channels are not only consistent but full of inspiring, engaging content that resonates with our audience.

You’ll love this role if you're a natural storyteller, a trend spotter, and endlessly curious about what makes people stop scrolling.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy that prioritises brand awareness, community building, engagement and story telling
  • Plan and manage a content calendar across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc).
  • Monitor channel performance and report on KPIs including reach and engagement rate, using insights to guide decisions.

Content Ideation & Creation

  • Lead creative development of high-impact social content including video, imagery, and copy.
  • Be the spark behind original brand owned content ideas, from concept to production—always on-brand, visually distinctive, and platform-native. Become a pro at telling the Beyond Nine brand story.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and freelancers to execute photo/video shoots, stories, reels, and more.
  • Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and viral formats—and find clever ways to make them our own.

Community & Brand Engagement

  • Manage daily community interactions across all platforms, nurturing relationships with our audience.
  • Support influencer collaborations and UGC curation to expand our brand reach and credibility.
  • Amplify PR and campaign launches through integrated organic social strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Brand, PR, and Digital teams to ensure campaign consistency across paid and organic.
  • Work with Content and Creative to develop innovative storytelling and social-first ideas.
  • Align with the Ecommerce and Product teams to support launches and key commercial moments.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of social media experience, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or DTC brands.
  • A strong portfolio of content ideation and creation—particularly taking long form into short-form video and storytelling formats.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, best practices, and emerging trends (especially on TikTok and Instagram).
  • Proficiency in social tools such as Later, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, and analytics platforms.
  • A naturally creative thinker with an analytical mindset—you can dream up the idea and back it with data.
  • Excellent writing, visual storytelling, and project management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Strong affinity with the Beyond Nine customer and brand aesthetic.
