A leading company in the homeware industry is seeking a creative Social Media Manager to enhance their online presence. Responsibilities include content creation and managing social media strategies to boost engagement and brand awareness. Content creation: develop, design, shoot and edit high-quality, original content (images, videos, graphics, GIFs, and copy) tailored to each social media platform. You will also take ownership of briefs for the channels for our inhouse design team.
Social media strategy: work closely with the brand marketing team to contribute to the social media strategy which will align with the marketing calendar and wider business goals.
Brand voice & consistency: you will need to be detail oriented and have excellent writing skills so you are able to create copy that aligns with the Loaf tone of voice, and visual identity.
Data driven: use social media metrics (likes, shares, comments, impressions, reach, etc.) to assess performance and adjust content strategies accordingly. Identify content trends, opportunities, and growth areas across platforms.
Collaboration: where appropriate work closely with internal and external creatives to produce high-quality content.
Social and wider trend awareness: stay up-to-date on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices, ensuring content remains fresh and relevant.
Proven experience in social media content creation and social media management
Creativity & innovation: a portfolio of previous work showcasing creative content across social media platforms.
Photography/videography skills: hands-on experience with capturing and editing photos and videos.
Proficiency in design: experience of using graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Time management: strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability: ability to quickly pivot and adjust content strategies in response to performance data or changing priorities.
Experience with paid social: familiarity with paid advertising on social media platforms is desired but not essential.
