Job summary

Talent Search Ltd is seeking a Social Media Manager in Hampshire. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of social media across a portfolio of international clients, delivering creative and commercially effective campaigns.

You will lead client conversations, develop social strategies, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service and ongoing account growth.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a similar role, ideally agency side with high end consumer facing clients.
• Ability to lead client conversations, present ideas and recommendations, and take responsibility for growth of accounts.
• Commercial awareness and confidence communicating with senior client contacts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day social media accounts and strategic development across a portfolio of international clients.
• Develop social strategies, content schedules, publishing, and community engagement; collaborate with studio, content, PR and account teams.
• Create native content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Shorts to drive engagement and brand awareness.
• Own accounts and build trusted client relationships as an extension of their marketing team.
• Oversee onboarding, strategy development, campaign delivery, reporting and ongoing account growth to ensure proactive, high-quality service.

My client is a highly successful, well established and growing marketing agency, who work mainly in the high-end consumer space. Due to new business wins, they are now looking for a Social Media Manager who's passionate about delivering exceptional content, driving growth, and leading client relationships confidently.

Your role will involve:

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and strategic development of social media accounts across a portfolio of international clients
• Developing social strategies, creating content schedules, managing publishing and community engagement and work closely with the studio, content, editorial, PR and account management teams to deliver social media that is creative, relevant and commercially effective
• Working across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and YouTube Shorts, creating and curating content that is native to each platform and designed to generate engagement, build brand awareness and ultimately support clients' wider marketing objectives
• Taking ownership of your accounts, building trusted relationships with clients and becoming an extension of their marketing team
• From onboarding new clients and developing initial social strategies through to day-to-day communication, campaign delivery, reporting and ongoing account development, you will be responsible for ensuring clients receive a proactive, high-quality service

You will be the ideal candidate due to your:

• Solid experience in a similar role, ideally gained agency side with high end consumer facing clients
• Ability to lead client conversations, present ideas and recommendations, challenge briefs where appropriate and take responsibility for the success and development of their accounts
• Commercial awareness, confidence in communicating with senior client contacts and capability of identifying opportunities to add value and grow existing relationships

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that great social media is about much more than posting content. You will need to understand each client's brand, audience and commercial objectives, identify opportunities to create content that cuts through the noise - and know how to adapt a story or idea for different platforms.
