Job summary

Tamar Roofing & Building Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Videographer / Social Media Manager to own and grow our video content and social channels.

You will regularly visit live roofing sites, capture high-quality video and photos, edit content, and transform day-to-day work into engaging posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. This full-time PAYE role offers a company vehicle and access to professional filming gear.

Qualifications

• Experience with professional cameras, microphones, drones and editing software.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working on construction sites and turning real roofing projects into content.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film and edit professional video content across our roofing and building projects.
• Travel between live job sites using the company vehicle.
• Produce regular Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and longer-form YouTube videos.
• Take high-quality photographs of projects from start to completion.
• Capture before, during and after footage of roofing projects.
• Produce drone footage where appropriate and legally permitted.
• Interview customers and team members for testimonials and project features.
• Manage the company's Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts.
• Develop a consistent weekly and monthly content schedule.
• Write engaging captions and select appropriate hashtags.
• Post consistently and monitor comments, messages and engagement.
• Develop new ideas for videos, adverts, behind-the-scenes content and educational roofing content.
• Create recruitment, company culture and "meet the team" content.
• Produce content suitable for both organic social media and paid advertising campaigns.
• Monitor social media performance and identify which content generates the strongest engagement and enquiries.
• Maintain an organised library of company photographs and video footage.
• Work directly with the Director and wider team to develop the Tamar Roofing brand.
• Keep up with current social media trends and identify opportunities to grow our audience.

Tamar Roofing & Building Services Ltd is looking for a full-time Videographer / Social Media Manager to take complete ownership of our video content and social media presence.

This is not just a desk-based social media role. We are looking for someone creative and confident who can regularly visit our roofing projects, capture professional video and photography, edit high-quality content and turn the day-to-day work of our teams into engaging social media.

We want to significantly grow the Tamar Roofing brand across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, showcasing our projects, our team and the quality of our workmanship.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for somebody who is creative, motivated and confident enough to take ownership of the role. You should be comfortable being out on construction sites, working around tradespeople and turning real roofing projects into professional, engaging content.

Experience with professional cameras, microphones, drones and editing software would be highly desirable. You should understand how to create content specifically for social platforms rather than simply producing traditional corporate videos.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Experience within construction or the trades would be useful but isn't essential. Understanding how to create excellent content and being willing to learn the roofing industry is more important.
