Job description

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager with a passion for social media marketing to lead our Revolution global social team. As a social first brand, you will take on the responsibility for the day-to-day management and activation on all global social media channels where we have a strong and loyal community as well as managing the content created specifically for social media channels. Working cross functionally to deliver against KPIs with a goal to increase overall brand awareness.

Our ideal person will bring a strong level of experience and expertise in social media, having worked on channels on a global scale combined with a passion for all things beauty. They will be insightful, commercial and be able to utilise their skills to build plans with the wider team and an individual who is excited by a dynamic and fast paced brand.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and implement the global social media marketing strategy for all channels, ensuring this is aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Lead and manage the Global social Media Team day-to-day to ensure plans are delivered effectively and aligned with the strategy and broader plan.
  • Work closely with the Brand, PR, Influencer, Commercial and Digital teams in planning daily, weekly & monthly focuses around key product launches, core products, campaigns, retail focuses and trends working cross functionally to balance out all the messaging.
  • Ensure a bespoke strategy per platform, tailoring content and keeping up to date with trends and updates.
  • Contribute to creating and delivering engaging social media campaigns that reflect the brand vision and connect with our community.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business sharing results and feedback.
  • Utilise insights & data to evolve and refine social media strategy and plans, identifying trends and activating quickly where possible.
  • Analyse and review reports & insights to establish KPIs and benchmarks, ensuring targets are set and measured.
  • Track competitor activity and share findings with the wider business.
  • Work with the customer service team to monitor comments and mentions, ensuring responses are handled appropriately.
  • Make sure business accounts are up to date and help maintain records of all channels.
  • Help external partners with their social media activity, ensuring they follow brand guidelines.
  • Build relationships with agencies and platform contacts to learn more and support strategy development.
  • Represent the brand in external meetings owning the discussions on social media marketing.
What you’ll have:
  • Previous experience in a global social media manager role and a strong understanding of all social media platforms.
  • Experience of building a social media strategy.
  • Understanding of and ability to collaborate cross functionally across a business to build aligned, commercial social media plans.
  • Experience of managing a team to deliver the goals and key KPIs set out.
  • A previous role in a global business with both website & retail outlets.
  • You’ll be super passionate about social media and always looking at the new trends, platform updates whilst trying to understand more about the algorithms.
  • Understanding of influencer space & paid social and its relation to social media marketing.
  • The ability to prioritise and show resilience in a fast-paced environment.
