Job summary

Pets at Home Limited is seeking a creative, social-first Social Media Executive to bring our brand and products to life across our social channels. The role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, with hybrid working (two office days per week) from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.

You will film and edit social content, support influencer partnerships and grow online communities to engage millions of UK pet owners.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media, content creation, marketing or digital communications.
• Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Confident creating, filming and editing short-form video content.
• Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut or Canva.
• Excellent storytelling, copywriting and communication skills.
• A keen eye for trends and an understanding of what makes great social content.
• Confidence working both behind and in front of the camera.
• A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects.
