Job title:Social Media Executive

Reporting to:Directors/Office Manager

Purpose of role:We are looking for a creative, confident and proactive Social Media Executive to take ownership of social media content across a wide range of client accounts, as well as our own Dialled In channels. The ideal candidate will know how to create engaging content, stay on top of trends, and deliver campaigns that drive visibility, interaction and business results.

In particular:

  • Creating engaging social content tailored to each client’s brand and goals
  • Planning content calendars and managing the scheduling of posts
  • Staying current with trends and adapting strategies to maximise engagement, working closely with our wide range of clients

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESKEY RESULT AREAS

  • Social media management: Create, schedule and publish content across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X. Adapt tone and approach for different audiences and sectors. Engage with social media users, managing comments and messages. Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of posts.
  • Content creation: Film, edit and deliver short-form video content including Reels, TikToks and Stories. Source visuals, write captions, and ensure all content is on-brand. Support in the creation of content for Dialled In’s own marketing activity. Contribute to campaign planning and share creative ideas
  • Analytics and reporting: Monitor performance of posts and campaigns. Compile reports highlighting engagement, reach and key insights. Use data to suggest improvements or adapt content strategies. Stay up to date with platform updates and algorithm changes
  • Collaboration and client support: Attend occasional site visits or client meetings to capture content. Liaise with internal team. Support campaign planning and provide input into wider marketing strategies. Assist with day-to-day general marketing and graphic design requests
  • Organisation: Effectively manage time across multiple client accounts. Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail. Deliver tasks in line with deadlines and client expectations

PERSON SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

Experience:

  • Social media expertise across all major platforms
  • Experience in a similar marketing or content creation role
  • Demonstrated success in using social media to attract new business and increase brand visibility
  • Experience with video content creation (filming and editing)
  • Understand core marketing principles, including digital marketing and social media strategies
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills

Personal Skills:

  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Self-motivated, can work independently and use own initiative to solve problems and make decisions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn and stay up to date with trends
  • Passionate about positive impacts and ‘adding value’ to all client objectives

  • Willing to work flexibly

Qualifications/Training:

  • Willing to undertake development related to the role which supports Dialled In’s priorities
  • English and Maths grade 4 (C) or above

DESIRABLE

Experience:

  • Graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite/Photoshop
  • Possess a good sense of humor

Qualifications/Training:

  • Agency experience
  • Relevant qualifications in marketing or related fields (e.g., degree level, CIM)

The ideal candidate will be a creative and confident communicator with a passion for social media and content creation. You will have a strong grasp of how different platforms work and what makes content stand out. Comfortable both behind the camera and at the keyboard, you will bring energy, ideas and attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment. A proactive attitude, strong organisational skills and the ability to plan to meet multiple concurrent deadlines is essential, as is a genuine interest in helping businesses grow through effective marketing.
