Job Description:

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Executive with a deep love for entertainment and a sharp eye for compelling content. In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing, curating, editing, and publishing engaging content across our social media platforms to drive audience growth and interaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and curate high-quality user-generated content (UGC) from various social media platforms to share on our publisher accounts.
2. Secure permissions from content creators and members of the public to syndicate their content across our owned channels.
3. Edit and optimise social media clips from existing long-form content to enhance platform-specific engagement.
4. Capture and produce original behind-the-scenes (BTS) content that highlights our brands.
5. Attend shoots to document and share exclusive BTS moments across our social media channels.
6. Develop and implement a content strategy to boost brand awareness and audience engagement.
7. Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualise and execute original content for brand partnerships and sponsorships.

Requirements:

1. In-depth understanding of social media platforms algorithms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
2. Proficiency in creating attention-grabbing thumbnails and utilising visual techniques to capture audience interest.
3. Strong video editing skills and familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
4. Ability to create engaging content that keeps audience retention high.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
6. A proactive approach to staying updated on social media trends and best practices.
