Job Description:

Social Media Executive – Heritage Food Brand

Location: Essex, 3 days a week in office

Salt has partnered with a household name food brand that sells its products through DTC and B2B channels including supermarkets, online, and wholesale.

You’ll be joining an established social media team working across the UK and Ireland on social media management and content ideation. This role requires someone passionate about the food and restaurant industry.

The Role:

  • Support the Social Media Manager in implementing the social media strategy.
  • Ideate and produce content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels, collaborating with agencies, content creators, and influencers.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring content is briefed, created on time, and within budget.
  • Analyze the performance of posts and report insights to Brand Managers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in social media and food & drinks.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice.

The Person:

  • At least 18 months of experience in a similar role for a DTC brand.
  • Passion and knowledge of the food industry and latest trends.
  • Highly creative with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Able to take accountability and ownership of work.
  • Enjoys working as part of a global team and with a global product.
