Social Media Executive – Heritage Food Brand

Location: Essex, 3 days a week in office

Salt has partnered with a household name food brand that sells products through DTC and B2B channels, including supermarkets, online, and wholesale.

You will join an established social media team managing social media and content ideation across the UK and Ireland. This role requires a passion for the food and restaurant industry.

The Role:
  • Support the Social Media Manager in implementing the social media strategy.
  • Ideate and produce content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels, collaborating with agencies, content creators, and influencers.
  • Manage the content calendar to ensure timely and budget-compliant content creation.
  • Analyze post performance and report insights to Brand Managers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in social media and food & drinks.
  • Collaborate with other teams to align messaging and tone of voice.
The Person:
  • Minimum 18 months experience in a similar role for a DTC brand.
  • Passion for and knowledge of the food industry and current trends.
  • Highly creative with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to take accountability and ownership of work.
  • Enjoys working as part of a global team and product.
