MANCHESTER – HEAD OFFICE BASED ROLE

Our client is an independent streetwear fashion brand that celebrates independent design, creativity, and a community of customers. They are now looking for a dynamic and energetic Social Media / Creative Content Manager to elevate the brand’s social media presence and growth.

Role Overview

As the Social Media Manager, you will be the voice and face of their brand across various social media platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. You’ll be responsible for creating and curating compelling content, managing their social channels, and engaging with their community to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and support sales and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with their brand’s tone, voice, and aesthetic across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms. This includes photos, videos, and written content.
  2. Community Management: Build a vibrant, engaged community by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions. Develop relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and key partners in the fashion industry.
  3. Campaign Development: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote product launches, seasonal collections, collaborations, and brand initiatives. Analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.

Analytics and Reporting: Track, measure, and analyze social media performance (engagement rates, reach, follower growth, etc.). Provide regular reports with insights and actionable recommendations to improve strategy.

Brand Awareness & Growth: Drive initiatives to grow followers, increase brand awareness, and engage with key audiences. Leverage trends in the fashion industry for content ideas.

Collaborate with marketing, design, and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. Contribute to broader marketing initiatives, including influencer marketing, email campaigns, and promotions.

Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and influencer culture. Bring innovative ideas to keep the brand’s content fresh and engaging.

Key Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media management, ideally within fashion or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong ability to create visually compelling and engaging content that resonates with a fashion-conscious audience.
  • Experience with iPhone photography, videography, or design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Confidence to appear on camera and create content both in front of and behind the camera.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and influencer marketing.
  • Proficiency in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key performance metrics using social media analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to communicate the brand’s voice and values authentically across all platforms.
  • A keen eye for fashion and social media trends, with the ability to leverage them for brand growth.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
