Job summary

Islamic Relief Worldwide is seeking a passionate Social Media Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging digital content that connects supporters with our mission. You will grow the organisation's organic reach by creating platform-specific content and managing campaigns across major channels.

You will support the development of our social media strategy, maintain content calendars, and collaborate with Marketing, Fundraising and Communications.

Qualifications

• Experience creating platform-specific content across multiple channels.
• Ability to plan and deliver social media campaigns.
• Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Experience analysing data to improve content performance.
• Experience in charity or not-for-profit sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the organic social media strategy.
• Manage and maintain content across social channels with on-brand tone.
• Plan, create and publish content on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and others.
• Maintain a content calendar and schedule content effectively.
• Support high-profile campaigns to raise awareness and fundraising.
