Social Media Content Specialist – 12 month FTC

Location: Warwick, United Kingdom (3 days office/2 days home)

We’re working with a retail-based client with multiple branches across the UK. They are looking to hire a Social Media Content Specialist for a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

Due to the office location, own transport and occasional travel to branches are required.

The role involves developing their social media presence on Meta, YouTube, and TikTok to engage new customers and bring the brand to life through authentic content.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the social media content plan, creating a structured and proactive strategy for the year.
• Collaborate with the social media agency for content requirements across organic and paid channels.
• Create engaging social media content that highlights the brand and its people, including product and promotional content.
• Plan and develop video content for YouTube, such as tutorials and 'a day in the life' videos.

Requirements:

• Experience in a social media content role.
• Understanding of organic and paid social media strategies.
• Experience with YouTube as a social channel is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Photoshop; videography experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience in eCommerce or retail, preferably within construction, interiors, or trade retail, is preferred.
