Job Description:

Social Media Content Specialist – 12 month FTC

Location: Wythall – 3 days office/2 days home

We’re working with a retail-based client with multiple UK branches. They seek a Social Media Content Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Due to office location, own transport and occasional travel to branches are required.

The role involves developing social media presence across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok to engage new customers and bring the brand to life through authentic content.

Responsibilities:

• Own the social media content plan, creating a structured strategy for the year.
• Collaborate with the social media agency on content requirements for organic and paid campaigns.
• Create engaging, authentic social content that highlights the brand and its people, including product and promotional content.
• Plan to increase video content, especially for YouTube, such as “how-to” videos and “a day in the life” series.

Experience Needed:

• Previous social media content role experience.
• Knowledge of organic and paid social media content.
• Experience developing YouTube as a social channel is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Photoshop beneficial; videography not required as in-house videographer will assist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience in eCommerce or retail preferred.
• Interest or experience in construction, interiors, or trade retail is a plus.
