Social Media Content Specialist – 12 month FTC

Wythall – 3 days office/2 days home

We’re working with a retail-based client with multiple branches across the UK. They’re seeking a Social Media Content Specialist for a fixed-term 12-month contract.

Due to the location, own transport and occasional travel to branches are required.

The role involves developing their social media presence on Meta, YouTube, and TikTok to engage new customers through authentic content.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the social media content plan with a proactive strategy.
• Collaborate with the social media agency for content requirements, both organic and paid.
• Create engaging content that highlights the brand and its people, including promotional material.
• Plan to increase video content, especially for YouTube – such as “how to” videos and “a day in the life” series.

Experience needed:

• Experience in a social media content role.
• Understanding of organic and paid social media.
• Experience with YouTube as a social channel is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop; videography is not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience in eCommerce or retail is preferred.
• Interest or experience in construction, interiors, or trade retail is a plus.
