Job summary

Valtti Ltd – Tikkurila UK is seeking a Social Media & Content Creator to lead the digital voice of the brand from Edinburgh, with occasional travel to stores and events. You will craft engaging content, manage channels and build collaborations with ambassadors to showcase decorating projects and colour trends.

The role blends creativity with hands-on content production, empowering you to shape the brand's online presence while growing your skills in a dynamic marketing team.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for social media and digital content.
• Creative eye and instinct for engaging content.
• Confidence filming, photographing and editing content.
• Comfortable in front of the camera and on video.
• Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
• Experience with Canva/CapCut/Adobe CC or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day management and development of social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
• Plan, shoot, edit and publish engaging content, including short-form video and imagery.
• Create content around decorating inspiration, colour trends and product demonstrations.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing activities.
• Stay ahead of platform developments and emerging formats to bring fresh ideas.
• Engage with online community to grow reach, engagement and brand awareness.
• Manage brand ambassador programme and coordinate collaborations with influencers.
• Source user-generated content and coordinate collaborations with decorators and partners.
