Job summary

Salt is seeking a Social Content Lead to drive the full social content journey for a well-known food sector client. This hands-on contract role requires owning insight, ideation, creation, publishing and performance analysis to deliver engaging, platform-native content.

You'll lead strategy and execution across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Reddit, building ideas from audience insights and trends, and coordinating with creatives and stakeholders to deliver high-quality campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading social content programmes for brands (essential).
• Strong end-to-end content creation experience from concept to publishing.

We're supporting a leading social content agency to find a Social Content Lead for a well-known food sector client.

This is a hands-on contract role for someone who can own the entire social content journey, from insight and ideation through to creation, publishing and performance analysis. You'll be the driving force behind engaging, platform-native content that resonates with audiences and delivers results.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading social content strategy and execution across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Reddit and other key platforms
• Generating and developing content ideas rooted in trends, culture and audience insights
• Creating, editing, publishing and optimising content end-to-end
• Managing content calendars and campaign delivery
• Collaborating with creatives, client stakeholders and wider agency teams
• Tracking performance and using data to inform future content decisions

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience leading social content programmes for food brands (essential)
• Strong end-to-end content creation experience, from concept through to publishing
• Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Reddit and emerging social platforms
• Excellent knowledge of social trends, creator culture and platform best practice
• Confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to move at pace while maintaining high creative standards
